X Grade Enchantements Guide

				X Grade Enchantments Guide

X enchantment standards

X grade items are usually safely enchanted to +3.

X grade items are destroyed when the enchantment fails if not enchanted
with a scroll that protects against it. See scroll types for more
information on which scrolls protect against item destruction.

X grade items cannot be enchanted higher than +20

The gains from each enchantment on an X grade weapon is +3 damage per
enchant for the first 3 enchantments and +6 per enchantment after that
making a +20 weapon add 111 damage which makes it close to a +150 S80
weapon

The gains from each enchantment on an X grade armor is -1 ac +3 DR per enchantment

There are no Cursed enchant scrolls for X grade, if you want to make it
go back down to 0 you must use a blessed enchant until it fails to reset
the enchantment to 0

Scroll Types

Normal Enchant Scroll - This scroll increases the enchantment value by
one(1) if it succeeds. If it fails the weapon or armor is destroyed and
turned to X Grade Soul Charged Fragments. It will always succeed if the
item being enchanted has not reached its safe enchant value yet.

Blessed Enchant Scroll - This scroll increases the enchantment value by
one(1) if it succeeds. If it fails the weapon or armor is reset to +0
rather than being destroyed.

Giant’s Enchant Scroll - This scroll can increase the enchantment value
by one(1), two(2), or three(3) if it succeeds. If it fails the weapon or
armor is destroyed and turned into X Grade Soul Charged Fragments. It
will always succeed if the item being enchanted has not reached its safe
enchant value yet. It is generally a good idea to use these when the
item is +2 so it has the chance to increase up to +3, +4, or +5.

Protection Enchant Scroll - This scroll increases the enchantment value
by one(1) if it succeeds. If it fails it does nothing. These items are
incredably rare to prevent easily enchanting items to their max enchant
value.
